Clarkson

About Clarkson

Serves as a Major Satellite Town Centre

Clarkson serves as a vibrant hub for the surrounding areas, offering an extensive array of shops, amenities, and facilities. Notably, it features a railway station and a public transport hub along the Yanchep railway line, enhancing connectivity for residents and visitors alike.

Geographically, Clarkson is bordered to the west by Mindarie, delineated by Marmion Avenue, and to the north by the suburbs of Merriwa and Ridgewood, which are separated by Hester Avenue. The Yanchep railway line acts as a natural boundary, separating Clarkson from the expansive Neerabup National Park to the east. To the south lies Tamala Park, an uninhabited area that contributes to the region’s natural landscape. Clarkson is situated approximately 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Indian Ocean, with the picturesque coastlines of Claytons Beach and Quinns Beach within easy reach. This strategic location not only enhances the appeal of Clarkson but also underscores its significance as a key residential and commercial center in the region.
