Alkimos

About Alkimos

Named after the Shipwreck of the Greek Freighter Alkimos

Alkimos is a coastal suburb located 42 kilometers north-northwest of Perth, Western Australia, within the City of Wanneroo. The area predominantly features native banksia woodland, scrubland, and heath typical of the Swan Coastal Plain. It is part of the Alkimos-Eglinton region, which the State Government is considering for future urban development, having announced on November 5, 2008, that it was seeking a development partner for the project.

Alkimos is where natural beauty meets modern, sustainable living. Whether you’re chasing a quiet beach escape, family-friendly parks, or want to explore Perth’s northern coastal gems, Alkimos makes for a relaxing yet adventurous stop.

Pristine Beaches

White sandy coasts, dunes, calm swimming conditions. Alkimos Beach is relatively undeveloped compared to more urban beaches, giving a peaceful, natural vibe.

Master Planned Community

Alkimos Beach is being built as a walkable, sustainable suburb with amenities, parks, shopping precincts, schools, surf club, and community hubs.

Sustainabily and Green Design

Alkimos Beach has achieved a lot of recognition — Australia’s first 6 Star Green Star Community, emphasis on sustainable building, water-wise landscaping, preserving natural habitats, etc.
